"Let's go buy some stuff and BBQ at the nearby park lah"
And it all took off from there.
We were sitting at a random mamak (read: coffee shop) in SS15 at around 1am discussing what to do at that moment.
I'll tell you honestly, I was bored as shit and was willing to do anything to unbore myself, so a spontaneous midnight BBQ was the perfect reprieve. We went to a nearby convenience store and bought some sausages, crab and fish balls, and some charcoal of course. After a quick stop at my place to take my trusty SLR camera and a bottle of water, it was straight to the Padang Asam :D
Upon arrival
Patma and Sid preparing the grill.
We initially had trouble starting the fire. Patma went off to find some fire-starters or something similar while Sidharth, Kein Yip and I continued in vain trying to get the fire to light up and stay lit. When Patma finally came back with some magic camphor, only then did we managed to sustain the burning fire.
Patma returning with his magic camphor.
Once the charcoal was glowing red hot, the food could start cooking. Heck, even STARTING the fire alone took the better part of the hour, so we were already a hungry bunch when the food finally went on top of the grill.
Our top chef cooking the first batch of franfurters.
Some of us were so hungry we attacked the food viciously, literally.
Dua orang ni selamba je....
We sat, hung around and chit chatted while constantly grilling and eating the food.
Cats all over were attracted by the fragrance of our cooking food.
Five-forty five A.M.
Nope, Sid was enjoying his yellow springy duck too much to leave at 5.45am.
And fuck, I did NOT take this picture, it makes me look so incredibly short L
Then there were the moments that my boredom took a slight turn into creativity, trying out silhouette shots. I admit I like them, the PHOTOS I mean :P

The aftermath of the late night BBQ...
Everyone was dead.
We finally left at 6.15am....
...after spending about 5 hours there. The BBQ, although simple, was simply one of the fun-nest things I've done simply because of its spontaneity.
P.S. Leung Keet, if you're reading this, TOO BAD YOU WEREN'T THERE! Hahahah
P.S. II: And yes, we did clean up. We are, after all, responsible young citizens :D
